Hand to God

19 – 27 June

A wickedly funny and darkly twisted comedy, Hand to God takes audiences to a quiet Texas church basement where a Christian puppet ministry spirals wildly out of control. When mild-mannered teen Jason’s hand puppet, Tyrone, seemingly takes on a shocking life of its own, the line between good and evil becomes hilariously—and horrifyingly—blurred.

Called “blisteringly funny” by The New York Times, this Tony-nominated play is equal parts outrageous satire and emotional gut punch, exploring faith, morality, and the monsters we all wrestle with inside.

With biting humour, unexpected tenderness, and a devilishly unpredictable puppet, Hand to God promises a night of theatre like no other.

Exit Laughing

12 – 14 June

Three lifelong friends, one empty chair and a bridge night that refuses to die.

For Connie, Leona and Millie, their weekly card game has been the highlight of the last thirty years, a sanctuary of wine, gossip and unconditional support, until their beloved fourth unexpectedly leaves an empty seat at the table.

Determined to say goodbye on their own terms, the ladies “borrow” her ashes for one last girls’ night in. What starts as a quiet tribute explodes into mischief, mayhem, surprise visitors, and the sort of belly laughs you only share with your oldest friends.

In one outrageous evening, this hilarious comedy toasts the joys of female friendship, the messiness of growing older, and the wonderful, reckless freedom of having nothing left to lose.

Full of laughter, music, and touching moments, this uniquely Australian play shines a light on friendship, courage, and the power of women working together in challenging times.

Funny, nostalgic, and full of heart, Dinkum Assorted is a joyous salute to the unsung heroines of wartime Australia.
